Murphy Recruitment works with personal information and by
virtue of this and our recognition the importance of this we
have formalised our position with respect to the amended Privacy
Act (1988).
The Types of Information that We Collect
and Hold.
Personal Information that we collect and hold in the practise
of Recruitment includes but is not limited to:
- Candidate / Job Seeker information collected in the process
and management of recruitment assignments including information
collected in the process of undertaking reference checks.
- Information relating to the establishment of employer and
employee relationships. This may include but not be limited
to Tax File Number, Bank Details, Next of Kin Contact Details,
Information for the completion of Superannuation compliance.
This information is collected only when necessary for engagement
for assignments.
- Further information over the duration of a professional
assignment may be collected relating work performance, incidents
in a workplace, absences due leave, illness or other.
The Purpose For Holding the Information
Collected
- To undertake placements, Contract and Permanent with our
Clients
- For Internal and External Staff Management and Training
- Client Relationship Management and Marketing
- Managing Internal and External Payroll Management
Disclosure of Information
- We may on occasion disclose your personal information
in line with the Purpose For Holding the Information Collected
stated above
- In most cases will only disclose your information with
your consent. This may be given by phone, fax, email or web.
However by submitting your information to Murphy Recruitment,
you will be taken to haven given consent for us to act in
line with our major purpose.
- Murphy Recruitment may also disclose your information
where a legal duty requires.
- In the event that we are required to engage professional
organisations to undertake services on our behalf. This may
include but not be limited to IT Contractors, Accountants
and Auditors.
- Where The Company is sold then your information may constitute
part of the information being sold.
